Use Your Device to Detect Magnetic Fields. With this app, you can easily locate wood studs concealed behind walls, drywall, plasterboard, or stucco.

Magnetic Detector utilizes your device's compass (magnetometer) sensor to accurately detect metal studs, nails, screws, and other metal fasteners embedded within all wooden wall studs.

This app functions similarly to handheld stud detector tools: as you glide the device along the wall, the needle will move and emit an audible beep.

Magnetic Detector is an application that identifies the presence of nearby metal by measuring the magnetic field value. This tool utilizes the built-in magnetic sensor on your mobile device and displays the magnetic field level in μT (microtesla). Typically, the natural magnetic field level (EMF) is approximately 49μT (microtesla) or 490mG (milligauss); 1μT is equal to 10mG. When any metal is in proximity, the magnetic field value will increase.

Metal Detector allows you to detect any metal object in a given area, as all metals emit a magnetic field that can be quantified using this tool.
